Atlanta Apparel runs October 6-9. How to buy Holiday and Spring 2027 in one trip, what sold at Coterie, and why to book MAGIC Vegas hotels now.

Atlanta Apparel happens October 6-9 at AmericasMart Atlanta, and it's one of the last apparel markets of 2026. It's the one trip where you close out Holiday and Winter and start buying Spring, deep into Summer 2027 and Resort in the same four days.
After that, the next big one is MAGIC Las Vegas, (our fave) February 16-18, 2027. Coterie already happened in New York in September, so we have the recap. We love a trade show!
When is Atlanta Apparel in October 2026?
Tuesday, October 6 through Friday, October 9, with apparel showrooms and First Finds open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. According to Atlanta Market's dates page, First Finds closes at 2 p.m. on Friday, so don't save the temporaries for a leisurely last lap.
There are seven categories: Ready-to-Wear, Premiere (Contemporary), Young Contemporary, Jewelry, Fashion Accessories, Resort and Shoes. That's a lot of building for one pair of feet, so wear good shoes.
Every day kicks off with a DJ set in Building 3, Floor 1. Because of course it does lol. Markets love a DJ set!
First market? The New Buyer Orientation happens the first two days. Go. Nobody is handing out gold stars for pretending you know where the elevators are.

How do you buy Holiday and Spring on one trip without losing it?
Decide what each season gets before you land, not in the showroom. Trade shows are designed to make everything feel urgent. Most of it can wait until you've looked at your numbers.
- Pull last Holiday's sell-through and your current on-hand. Holiday is basically now (Merry Christmas), so anything you buy for it has to ship fast and sell faster.
- Split your open-to-buy into two buckets before you leave: Holiday/Winter and Spring/Summer 2027 plus Resort if you carry it.
- Hit Holiday and immediates early in the week, while the stock you want still exists.
- Walk Spring once without writing a single order. Take photos, take notes, go back to the hotel.
- Write Spring orders on day two or three, after a full night of sleep and zero margaritas.

What sold at Coterie for Spring 2027?
Prints, color and texture, per WWD's show report. Buyers liked prints in reds, blues and greens, and for Spring 2027, lighter wash denim is the favorite.
Coterie had 146 new brands, roughly 23% of the floor, according to Purvi Kanji, VP of events. Brands came from more than 30 countries, and footwear, accessories and beauty are growing.
The detail we'd actually use: it was billed as a spring show, but some brands brought fall lines for buyers who wanted immediate deliveries. Expect the same energy in Atlanta. Know your immediates budget going in, or the immediates will pick it for you.
Lauren Carter of Matty M. called the trends "satin prints, novelty and textured" and said "Fig is popular for fall." Their brown suede dress retails at $198.

When is MAGIC Las Vegas 2027, and do I really have to book now?
MAGIC Las Vegas is February 16-18, 2027: Tuesday and Wednesday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. And yes, book now. The official event page says hotels go through OnPeak and rates are first come, first served.
February feels far away. It is not. It's two holidays, one inventory count and a round of post-holiday markdowns away.
MAGIC's about page pitches trend, young contemporary and modern sportswear, with communities including Size Inclusive, Black-Owned, Woman-Owned, Sustainable and Emerging. If you only walk the aisles you walked last year, you're doing Vegas wrong.
